BRP Reel 2012

We’ve had a great first year of production as a team. Editor Nathan Stone put this reel together for a look back at 2012 for Blue Rain Pictures. We shot four films, all different genres. We entered festivals, won some awards, traveled to different states, made new connections with new artists, utilized new and exciting gear, and had a blast together. We’re looking forward to more production in 2013, as we wrap our latest film, ‘Spare Room.’

‘Outta the Blue’ Online

Our first ever short film as a collaborative team was ‘Outta the Blue,’ a comedy we set out to make when hearing about an upcoming film festival. With the deadline approaching, Founder and Director Jan Hemstad pulled together a team he had confidence in to begin shooting as BRP. After ‘Outta the Blue,’ we’ve continued to shoot, as you can see, with each project for the screen becoming more and more ambitious. We hope you enjoy our first short.
